This leads me to an old gripe:  in many games that attempt to portray characters from films and comic books, the authors seem to jack their skill levels up to ridiculous levels.  The old Star Wars RPG is a classic example of this.  I think it's more "heroic" for a character with moderate stats to perform great feats than it is for one with high stats to sort of show up with the knowledge he will emerge unscathed.  Anyway, the character sketches below were created with this in mind.

Finally, as I pointed out, in #1, I'm just making all this up. If you decide to use these characters in a game but disagree with the allotment of states, change 'em!  If you come up with something that you think is much more accurate, email me and I'll consider amending these.

EQUIPMENT: Varies considerably depening on her current mission and mood.  The list below represents her "standard" complement while in Olympus. -Gasium Armor -Heavy Pistol (she usually carries a variety of ammunition) -Hold-out pistol -Assault Rifle -Combat knife (or short sword) -Secure communicator -Omni-tool -Goggles:  Thermop, Light Amp, Magnification. -GUGES-D Landmate with standard C-Class Rifle and Flight Rig -Motorcyle	BACKGROUND: Much of Deunan's past remains obscured.  It is known that before the war, she was a police officer with LA's SWAT unit.  Apparently, she worked for her father and with Bri.  He activities during the war have not been revealed, though it doesn't seem that she was actively involved in fighting. After the war, she wandered Badside with Bri for sometime.  They moved from town to town, rarely encountering another soul in the burned-out husks of civilization (most of the occupants have been wiped out biological weapons that had since become inert).  They scrounged what they needed and lived a pretty simple existance. That was until Hitomi came out of the wilderness to bring them back to Olympus.  At the same time Deunan and Bri were learning of the fledgling nation-state, they were attacked by mercenaries (likely sent by as-yet unnamed forces in Olympus itself).  After dispatching the bad guys, Deunan and Bri packed up and headed to Olympus. Initially, the pair was somewhat bewildered by the luxary and advancement of Olympus.  But both quickly learned of the political intrigues and danger of the country.  Deunan was quickly pitched into a landmate fight with a new friend, who was actually a terrorist seeking to destroy Tartarus, one of Olympus' supercomputers.  In that fight, Bri was serverely wounded as well. After that, Bri and Deunan joined the Olympus police and were quickly headhunted to ESWAT, where they continue to serve.  Deunan is respected, but not popular, among her teammates (she's bossy and a bit of a primadonna).  Also, she lost an eye in a recent training exercise. It is clear that Deunan was brought to Olympus for some reason other than her skills as a soldier.  Her father, now dead, was involved with the Hope project in some way and may have given her DNA to be used for bioroids or some other cloning process.  She is wrapped up in matters she hasn't even yet begun to comprehend.

His "bunny ears" often reveal his mood:  down when he's sad or contemplative, and up when surprised or alert.     CYBERNETICS: Bri has more gadgets than Batman..  This is a basic list (there is probably more!): Optics:  4 eyes:  Thermop, Magnification, Broadspectrum, Light Amp, Camera, Computer link, Weapons Link.  "Bunny Ear" Extensions: 1.5 m.  These systems are redunant in case one of the eyes is destroyed. Audio:  Secure Comm, Receiver, Wide Range, Recorder. Nose:  That big round thing in the middle of his face is actually his nose!  Honest! Exodermis:  AV: 25 Organs:  All filtration systems. Brain Box:  AV: 45, BP: 100 Brain Plug: standard Options:  Single-burst machine gun in right arm:  6Dx4 damage. Jump Bonus:  +4D Base HP:  30 Reproductive organs:  apparently, Bri's "bits" are still fully operational and stored in all the right places.

EQUIPMENT: Varies considerably depening on his current mission.  The list below represents his "standard" complement while in Olympus. -Kevlar Vest -Heavy Cyborg Class Pistol (with a variety of ammunition) - Cyborg-class Assault Rifle (Bri can carry some extremely heavy weaponry!) -Combat knife (or short sword) -Secure communicator -Omni-tool -Goggles:  Thermop, Light Amp, Magnification. -GUGES-Cyborg mod: Landmate with standard Flight Rig -Cyborg Motorcyle	BACKGROUND: Bri used to be a handsome, athletic American male before his body was destroyed during a conflict.  In his current form, he is probably one of the most advanced cyborgs on the planet.  Only 1 in 1000 cyborgs are "prefectly coordinated" as he is.  Bri previously worked with (or for) Deunan's father in the LAPD.  It is unclear how long he has been working with Deunan, though he has apparently known her for a number of years and they have perfected working together a team (well, almost perfected...).  His role appears to have grown from some kind of guardianship to true and deep romantic love (though it's unclear how he feels about Deunan's new interest in marriage).. Aside from his impressive physical prowress, Bri is extremely intelligent.  He keeps up on current politics and world events.  He almost always thinks before acting and can make keen tactical assessments in a hurry.  He has become one of the anchors of Olympus's ESWAT.
